Disappointed- maybe I expected too much.
I bought this for my blind son who lives alone. Was very disappointed as it just seemed to be a regular machine with a decal over the touch screen with slightly raised markings over where to press. The manual was just a regular manual - no mention of guideline. My son found that the markings and lines were not raised enough to distinguish where to press, so I had to put some bumper dots at the appropriate places, which rather defeats the reason for buying this machine. He also found that the start button would often not respond (maybe decal is too thick). When the start button is eventually pressed it takes about 10 seconds for it to react. Now that he knows this, he's fine with the machine as the dots I've put on help him find the areas to press. I did contact Miele about this thinking it may be a faulty machine or we were doing something wrong, but got no response - maybe I sent it to the wrong address (info@miele.co.uk). I am a big fan of Miele and have lots of their products in my own home - but I think this one lets them down.
