Dissatisfied, disappointed and would absolutely not recommend
I called for advice prior to the purchase- I was advised that the tower was telescopic and the hight was not a factor I needed to consider- this was incorrect and the extractor is now lower than I wanted. I also wanted a high spec extractor and had understood that although I did not require Bluetooth (the Miele hob I have would not have been compatible) I did want a touch screen control and a digital display showing when the filters need cleaning. Cost was not a deciding factor. The extractor is too low, has no digital display and is also extremely noisy - far noisier than the previous extractor. In all poor advice and a poor product. All my kitchen appliances are Miele but given that I’ve recently had issues with another Miele appliance which is still in warranty with the problem unresolved (apparently this particular issue is not covered by the warranty) I will not be replacing any of the current Miele appliances with new Miele products.
The older Miele products lasted well and were absolutely worth the outlay for premium appliances- seems that the current Miele products are living on a reputation which is dissolving. As a returning Miele customer didn’t look at the reviews but now wish I had.
